World Water Park Slides and Descriptions

Beginner

Caribbean Cove NOW OPEN
Splash, slide, climb and play at Caribbean Cove. The first attraction of its kind in Western Canada, covering almost 6,000 square feet. Caribbean Cove features  a giant tipping bucket that dumps 1,200 litres of water at one time!
Caribbean Cruiser
A double rider slide into 1' skim out pool.
Dolphin Kiddie
A play area for children 6 years and under. All children must be supervised at all times by an adult. Climbing on structures is strictly prohibited.
Sun Runner
A family tube slide with a sudden stop at the bottom. Please use caution while carrying tubes. Triple-rider tubes are available.

Intermediate

Blue Bullet (Slide Closed for Improvements)
A double rider slide through dark enclosed tunnels into 2'-3' of water. Person riding in front must be one head shorter than rider in back.
Corkscrew
A single rider, fully enclosed slide into 4' of water. Parents may catch children at bottom. Tubes are permitted.
Raging Rapids
A single rider tube ride through raging rapids. Must ride feet first and remain seated in tube for duration of ride. Life jackets are permitted. Chain is not permitted.

Advanced

Howler
A single rider, fast slide with dark tunnels and sharp turns into 4' of water. Parents may catch children at bottom. Tubes are permitted.
Thunderbolt
A single rider sled ride. Conveyor assists guests by carrying sleds to top. Must be at least 4' tall.
Twister
A single rider slide into 4' of water. Parents may catch children at bottom. Tubes are permitted.

Extreme

Nessie's Revenge
A single rider, fast slide into 5' of water. Must be at least 4' tall. Suitable for strong swimmers only.
Sky Screamer
A single rider, straight-down, fast slide into 5' of water. Must be at least 4' tall. Suitable for strong swimmers only.
Tropical Typhoon
A single rider, partially enclosed slide into 10' of water with a strong current. Suitable for strong swimmers only.

Safety Regulations

Please read all posted rules and regulations

  • Age Restrictions:
    6 and under: Need to be accompanied by someone who is 18 or older
    Age 7 – 10: Need to be accompanied by someone who is 14 or older
    Age 11 and up: May enter the facility without Supervision
  • Walk, do not run
  • All slides are single riders ONLY with the exception of the Blue Bullet, Caribbean Cruiser and Sun Runner
  • Tubes are permitted on the Corkscrew, Howler, Raging Rapids, Sun Runner and Twister ONLY
  • Life jackets are NOT permitted on the slides except for the Sun Runner and Thunderbolt
  • ONLY approved life jackets and rented waterpark tubes are permitted in the Wave Pool.
  • All floatation devices are prohibited (i.e. waterwings, air mattresses, etc)
  • ONLY proper swim attire may be worn when using the facility
  • Jean shorts and wetsuits are NOT permitted
  • Masks and snorkels are NOT permitted
  • It is recommended NOT to wear eyeglasses and jewellery on the slides or in the Wave Pool
  • Glass containers and alcohol are NOT permitted in the park
  • Designate a meeting place for your group to avoid confusion
  • All diaper-aged children must wear proper swim diapers at all times. Swim diapers can be purchased at World Waterpark Information Centre and in the Family Change Room
